CFA Recognizes Influential Contributions made to Educational Programs in Commercial Finance

Betty Hernandez, EVP and CCO of North Mill Capital, will be honored by the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) with the 2016 Harry H. Chen Memorial Instructor of the Year Award at its National Convention in November.

“This is a great achievement and certainly well deserved,” said Jeff Goldrich, President and CEO of North Mill Capital.

Ms. Hernandez will be presented with her award during the luncheon being held on Thursday, November 10th. The CFA Convention is taking place this year in Miami at the iconic Fontainebleau Hotel.

This award is given by the CFA to recognize an industry leader who has made powerful contributions to the CFA education programs.

The award is named for Harry Chen, a field exam instructor at the time, who strongly believed in continuous learning and gave generously of his time to teach others. Upon his death, this award was created in his honor.

Founded in 1944, the CFA has nearly 300 member companies and 20 chapters located throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.
