RE: Andy Disch

Dear Mr. Flamang:

All too often we take for granted the positive efforts of the few, who by their actions, greatly benefit many. Such is the case of Andy Disch.

Over the years Andy has served in a variety of roles within the MN chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA MN) and each time he has brought consistent energy and commitment. This past year, Andy served as our president as well as advisor to the Programming Committee.  Through his steady leadership we have tackled typical tasks such as planning, budgeting, and member retention efforts.  But in this most unusual year Andy has also led RMA MN in innovating as we migrated to virtual chapter meetings and contemplated how to continue bringing value to our membership.  I am pleased to share that we remain strong as an industry organization committed to education, networking, and professional development within the discipline of financial risk management.  We are grateful to Andy for leading the way.

Within the Programming Committee of the Minnesota chapter of the Risk Management Association (MN RMA) we provide relevant and timely chapter programming via guest speakers and industry experts through which our members and guests can expand their knowledge and support their business and personal development goals.  Creating this chapter programming takes time, effort, and leadership. Andy, as part of our Programming Committee, volunteered his time and expertise this past year to help us provide quality programming for hundreds of RMA MN members and guests.  And he has graciously agreed to do so again for this next year.

The success of MN RMA would not happen without volunteers like Andy who bring enthusiasm, knowledge, and a unique perspective to bear.  As the Chair of Programming Committee and this coming year’s President, I would like to extend a genuine thank you for supporting Andy’s commitment to the MN RMA.

Sincerely,

Robin Turner
